The B & B is about 7 minutes walk from the River Thames which has 2 pubs with gardens and restaurants and lovely walks and views along the towpath.
Shortly before passing under the unusual arched steel footbridge leading to D'Oyly Carte Island (privately owned), you will find the boarding point for the Nauticalia ferry.
This runs every 15 minutes, generally, and a £1 fare (less for children, bikes etc) will take you to the Shepperton bank of the Thames.
Here you find Nauticalia, a large chandlery, gift shop and boatyard. |
